I'm grateful for time spent with family. My husbands Father has been battling blood cancer since 2004, and though recently his health is up and down, he's a fighter! He rarely complains, and inspires me to be a better person, and to really LIVE!

I am grateful for my loving mother, with out her I don't know what I would do. She's my best friend and my number one. She is always there for me no matter what. And its true what they say mothers know best. She lost her sister 27 years ago,she misses

In a weird way, I am grateful for Motor Neurone Disease and the fact that my Mum has it... MND has all but robbed Mum os the use of her hands, and is in the process of robbing her of the use of her lges. No one can predict what its going to attack next,

I recently did a "put-up" activity with my students. Each week we talk about ways to prevent bullying and what we could do if a bully picks on you, puts you down etc. Instead of talking about put downs, we decided to talk about put ups. I gave each child

I am grateful for my husband. Eight months ago we lost our cat, car and house to a fire and without my husband I would not have been able to get through it. He is wonderful.

I am grateful for my family and friends especially my children. They continue to teach me in so many ways that life is ever changing and as a consequence we change as well. Today I am grateful for time, sunshine and birdsong. I especially needed all three
her every second of the day and she is so strong. I Love you mum :)
but eventually, it will rob her of her life. However, because Mum has been handed a 'death sentence', we are now making the most of whatever time we have left. I've taken time off work to spend with her when she's been having tests at the hospital, and unexpectedly,
we had the best day talking and sharing stories that we haven't shared before. Because of MND, I'm trying to ask all the questions, and find out all the information, I can, before the end... We don't know how long it will take MND to kill Mum, but we do know
that every moment counts. And for that, I am grateful!
a notecard and had them write their name on the card. I collected the cards then randomly passed the cards out again. The students were then instructed to write 1 nice comment/compliment about the person whos name was on the card. I collected the cards and
read the cards aloud. The students were very excited to hear so many nice things about themselves. However, The real perfect moment of the lesson came to me the next day. A little boy said "Remember when we talked about how good it made us feel to get the
compliments from our peers? Well, I think the better feel good moment was when I wrote the compliment about my classmate." Perfect moment!
